Received the kindest surprise today. Ron Schad mailed me a short note and pictures of Dad from the 90s. Out the of the blue after 4 and a half years of being an orphan, my father's smile from his heaven, "the golf course," arrives in my mailbox. Random acts of kindness.<br /><br />Love my job. We created John Hancock quill and ink signatures today, and discussed Common Sense. Students continue to improve on hots, conclusions, inferences and symbolism. <br /><br />Each day I am learning more about the smart board. I sure hope I get to stay in the same room and grade level next year so I can keep utilizing this technology. What a gift the Foundation and the anonymous donor bestowed upon my class. <br /><br />45th birthday is in 10 days.
